The layered carbon case creates the distinctive flowing, wood-grain-like pattern visible in the photograph, while the skeletonized architecture puts the mechanical components on full display.

The RM 35-02 was developed as the first self-winding model in the Nadal line. Its RMAL1 automatic calibre features a variable-inertia balance, double-barrel system and patented variable-geometry rotor, allowing the winding system to be adjusted according to the wearer's activity.
